Delete your HomeCrew account

You can permanently delete your HomeCrew account from the app. The deletion applies to your signed-in account and cannot be undone.

Delete in the app

  1. Open HomeCrew and tap Settings.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Review both confirmations and tap Delete account.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.

Request deletion without the app

If you cannot use the in-app option, email Mojave Labs with the subject “HomeCrew account deletion request.” Include the email address you use with HomeCrew and which sign-in method you normally use. Do not send a password, magic link, one-time code, OAuth code, or token. An address or provider-name match alone is not proof; we will verify that you control the account before deleting it.

Request account deletion

We acknowledge assisted requests within 3 business days and complete verified requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

What may be retained

If a shared household has another active parent, ownership transfers to that parent. Shared chores, checklists, and completion history remain for the household, but references that identified you are removed. This keeps the other household members’ service working without retaining your account.

Limited encrypted backups and security or operational logs may remain for their normal recovery, fraud-prevention, or legal-retention period. Production database backups expire within 7 days; Supabase operational logs expire within 7 days; Sentry diagnostics expire within 30 days; and PostHog completes queued person/event erasure within 30 days. These copies are not used to restore a deleted account into the live service.
